You don’t have to believe anything yet.
If you’ve landed here feeling a bit shaken, a bit fascinated, or honestly just tired of how strange everything has become, you’re in the right place, and you don’t need to arrive with any answers. There’s nothing to sign up to and nothing to accept. Take it as slowly as you like.
A lot of people expected that the hardest part of contact would be the fear of the unknown. For most, though, the existence of our galactic family became ordinary news fairly quickly. What lingers is quieter and stranger: the slow realisation that some of the things we took as bedrock, things like what reality is, what we are, and how much of our lives we actually shape, may not be the whole story. That can be exciting and unsettling at the same time, sometimes in the same hour. That’s normal. Nothing’s wrong with you.
The gentlest version of the idea
Here it is without any jargon: the understanding being offered to us is that consciousness comes first, and the physical world takes shape in response to it. Your inner state, meaning your thoughts, your attention and the “frequency” you carry, is not only a private experience happening inside your head. It quietly shapes how your life unfolds around you. You don’t have to accept that today. Just let it sit there as a possibility. That’s enough to begin.
A few easy first steps
1. Go slow with the news
Pick one or two sources you trust and check them at set times rather than all day. A constant stream of updates keeps your nervous system on alert even when you’re perfectly safe. You decide when to look.
2. Look after the basics
Sleep, food, daylight, a walk, people you like. None of that is a distraction from the big questions. It is what keeps you steady enough to think clearly about them. Keep your ordinary life going.
3. Notice your own state
Without judging it, just notice how you feel through the day. That gentle noticing is the very first step in the frequency work. Long before any technique, there is simply becoming aware of your own inner weather.
4. Let understanding come in your own time
When you’re ready for more, Understanding Frequency explains the whole idea in plain language. No rush. It’ll be there when you want it.
Keep your discernment switched on. An open mind and good sense belong together. Whatever you explore here, keep caring for your body and mind in all the ordinary ways: keep your doctors, your treatments, your savings, your judgement. Anyone who tells you to drop those things is steering you wrong. Real growth never asks you to abandon your common sense.
Or maybe you just want to talk
You don’t have to read a single explainer or try a single practice. Sometimes the most useful thing is just to say out loud how mad all of this feels, to someone who actually gets it. If that’s where you’re at, that’s completely valid.
And to be plain about it: mate, none of this means you suddenly have to go “woo woo” or carry crystals around. If you just want to vent about the craziness of it all over a coffee, a pint in a Canberra pub, or online, I’m genuinely happy to do exactly that. No agenda, no sales pitch.
